ARE WE A GOOD FIT?

Realizing that the therapeutic process is primarily a relational process, finding a counselor that you gel with is important. Therefore, we are willing to talk by phone or in person to discuss your goals for counseling and answer any questions about how we see the therapeutic process.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

You can prepare for your first session by completing the client history beforehand online. We will spend the first minutes of the session going over paperwork and our informed consent so that you are aware of your rights as well as our office policies and procedures.

WHAT WILL MY FIRST SESSION LOOK LIKE?

You can prepare for your first session by completing the client history beforehand online, as well as a list of any questions you may have.  We will spend the first minutes of the session going over paperwork and our informed consent so that you are aware of your rights as well as our office policies and procedures.    Once that is out of the way, I will then work with you to fully understand your areas of concern and start to develop goals and a plan to meet those goals.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE, AND HOW DOES THAT WORK?

To determine your mental health coverage, you can contact your insurance carrier yourself or you can send the information to Revive Counseling, and we will be happy to contact the insurance company for you to help you to understand your coverage.  Insurance benefits vary greatly between plans, and we are happy to help you figure out what your insurance’s benefits are.  Revive Counseling is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, UMR, HealthChoice, Cigna, and Alliance Coal.  If your insurance is out-of-network with Revive Counseling,  we can submit the out-of-network claims for you, if your insurance has out-of-network benefits. 

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

The answer to this questions depends on several factors and varies from person to person. Your level of motivation and willingness to apply what is learned during sessions to your life will have a large influence on the number of sessions.

HOW MUCH WILL THERAPY COST?

Our fee is $120 for a 50-minute session.  Payment options include cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Health Savings Account debit cards.
